My name is Josephine Majorana and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Northern CA working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults of all ages and have a specific background/training in trauma work, behavioral therapy, non-profit community-based outreach, and hospice/end-of-life planning. I most often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based interventions to help clients understand and heal from traumatic experiences in their lives. I work with adults of all ages, with a particular focus on both younger and older adults who are struggling with the life transitions that are common during these specific phases of life. I make every effort to tailor my treatment approach based on the unique needs and experiences of each client. Together, we will challenge negative thought patterns, examine interpersonal relationships, and identify sources of stress and suffering in an effort to create positive behavioral and emotional change.
