About

Now is the time to take up space: In life, there are few places where we can be our authentic self and it takes immense courage to take up the space we deserve. Here, I welcome you to be all of who you are, while helping you explore all that you can be. You may be wondering if you are capable of taking this step, and the answer is YES! It may take you out of your comfort zone, but you are not alone once you step outside of it. Sometimes we need additional support to reach our potential and navigate change, and it is my honor to be a helping hand in your life.

In psychotherapy and testing, I pride myself in taking a strengths-based approach; I believe that we all have undiscovered strengths that can be useful during challenging times. My theoretical orientation is Interpersonal, which is an integrative framework to help you explore your life through the perspective of connection, thoughts, and emotions.

I provide in-person and virtual therapy for adolescents, college students, and adults. I also offer psychoeducational evaluations assessing learning disorders and ADHD, and psychological evaluations assessing mood, personality, and overall functioning. I welcome you to visit my website www.drjoalmanzar.com to learn more.
