Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Therapy is a place where you can be open and honest about yourself and have no judgment about who you are. We all need to be willing to ask for help when needed. I feel therapy can help a variety of people and I look to work with clients on issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and trauma. I also look to help clients who deal with a variety of other challenges such as issues at home or challenges in school. I take an approach that is heavy on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, ACT, and Mindfulness. I feel no two people are alike and that each person I come into contact with deserves a unique approach based on their needs. Therapy can be intimidating and oftentimes stigmatized. But I can assure you there is never any shame in asking for help. I am looking to do my part to normalize the use of mental health services and break down the barriers that may keep someone from going to therapy. You deserve to be valued and accepted for the many positive traits you have.
