I help my clients learn and enhance their abilities to utilize their own strengths in order to overcome issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, substance abuse, and daily or work related stress. I put in a strong effort to connect with my clients and create a working alliance. The treatment I provide is a collaborative process where we will work together for positive changes. I've spent the last five years training and working with clients at institutions such as New York Presbyterian Hospital, the William Alanson White Institute, New York University, and Cornell Medical College. I am interested in learning about my clients, not just the problems they present to me. I use an integrated dynamic approach to therapy informed by mindfulness, relaxation techniques, psychodynamics, motivational interviewing, EMDR and cognitive-type therapies. Empathy is a salient feature in my sessions. My style is warm, interactive, and practical. I want to help you see and build your strengths. My practice provides for adults and adolescents 14 and up. I meet with individuals, couples, and groups. If this sounds like a fit for you, please reach out.
