I am a clinical psychologist practicing for more than 2 1/2 decades. These are not easy times by any stretch. i hope to provide a safe and comfortable space to share worries, concerns, and fears that have infiltrated our daily lives. We are in a world where we don't often feel heard or seen, and my goal is to create space for that and opportunities to think about how we communicate what we need from others. I use CBT, which emphasizes the importance of how we think about events, ourselves, and others; these affect our feelings and the things we do. The goal is to improve insight AND to make changes to improve our quality of life. . I have worked for many years with a wide variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and grief. Other areas of expertise include trauma and PTSD for people coping with a wide range of painful experiences, and helping people cope with medical conditions, ranging from chronic pain to cancer to death and dying. It can take courage to reach out for help. I welcome you to contact me to chat for us to consider whether we might be a good fit. A good client-therapist relationship is less about characteristics that can be explained in 360 characters and more about connection. As I am remote only, I am able to provide care to folks across the state of Massachusetts.
