I work with kids, teens, adults and families struggling to love themselves. I am here to support you in processing pain and removing the shell around your heart that is preventing you from being understood by those around you. If you want to learn how to cope with your daily frustrations, behaviors, and emotional blocks in a solution-focused and creative way, I can help! Focusing on you and how we can better suit you and your needs is my goal. With younger kids, I like to use play as a form of therapy and a way to form a connection with them. My focus is on clients who need a boost in their love of self, and with those who turn to negative coping strategies to help them self-soothe. I will approach the counseling relationship by allowing the client to become comfortable with their own creative side, with creative interventions. I am currently a doctoral student in a Marriage and Family Ph.D. program at North Central University. I am currently studying new ways to counsel individuals, kids, teens, couples, and families. If you feel we might be a good fit, please email me with your name and how you came to find me!
