About

I am a License Professional Counselor helping my clients discover how they can successfully contend with a range of issues, including the challenges of everyday life, abuse issues, trauma, crisis and behavioral and mental health. My mission is to guide my clients to identify their self-worth and to obtain the skills they need to realize their resilience. We pursue these goals through counseling, interpersonal training, education, motivation, exploration and identification. Self-sufficiency and healthy positive development are markers of our success.

Distinctive to the field, as a male minority counselor. My empathetic, client-centered approach is grounded in my broad experience over 17 years working with children, teens, adults and families in their homes, in schools, outpatient clinics, crisis centers, homeless shelters and in correctional facilities.

I have attended numerous professional development trainings and conferences throughout the country. Furthermore, I have led and overseen professional development trainings in topics relating to Trauma Informed Care, Resiliency, Sanctuary, and Crisis Personnel Intervention. I have experience in trauma evaluations, psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, academic assessments, and child welfare investigations
