As a clinical and sport psychologist working with athletes in the MLB and NFL, I help people overcome barriers in their life and reach their full potential. I think warmth, humor and creativity are essential ingredients to our work. Together we will examine your thoughts and behaviors and how to change them to improve your mood and life satisfaction. I incorporate sport psychology into my work with my clients. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other science-based techniques, I help coach people using the strategies I've used with professional athletes over the past 14 years. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) involves examining the way in which your thoughts and behaviors affect your feelings. We will examine and change your thinking patterns to allow you to minimize unwanted feelings. We may also work to master fear provoking situations by confronting them one small step at a time. My Cognitive Behavioral Therapy practice is conveniently located near Union Square. The office is close to all transportation and just two blocks away from the Union Square subway station.
