I specialize in anxiety, depression, addictive patterns, eating disorder treatment including Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia, Anorexia and both Borderline and Narcissistic Personality Disorders. I am certified in EMDR and well trained in working with trauma and PTSD. If you find yourself stuck in the same self defeating patterns or constantly overreact in anger, I can help. Poor sleep, drinking too much, raging, binge eating/excessive dieting, or over medicating can dull emotional pain but there are more effective ways to cope and reduce stress to find a life that offers more peace, joy, and healthier relationships. My training is in EMDR, CBT, and DBT with emphasis on new coping skills to replace destructive and ineffective thinking and behavior. Therapy includes mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness training. My area of expertise is depression, anxiety, the treatment of eating disorders, addiction and Personality Disorders If you suspect an eating disorder in yourself or loved one, early intervention and treatment is crucial and can bypass years of progressive illness. My post graduate internship was in an eating disorder treatment center. My work in a clinical setting utilizes a treatment team approach collaborating with other medical professionals.
