In our world with so many ways and/or devices to keep us close or connected, why are we so ‘disconnected’. Why are our relationships in shambles? Sometimes we need support, encouragement, and guidance to help us get through the hard times. As your therapist, it is my responsibility to work myself out of a job. To give you some things that will help you deal with the difficulties now, as well as the ones you will encounter in the future. I use various methods and ways to support and encourage a better way of living. When we are hurt, we often act in ways that are self-protecting, but are detrimental to the relationship. The relationship is the third party, hers, his, and ours. Sadly, the relationship has no voice - it has no way to protect itself. As your therapist, I am able to voice the pains of the relationship, without hurting the people in the relationship. I encourage everyone to support, care and love the other parts of the relationship. We may experience events - situations that we need an objective person to help us sort it out. Many of the questions we have about life have at the core, the basic need ‘to make sense of it’. Therapy can be an avenue to pursue making sense of life and how I should respond to it. I hope and pray that you will allow me to be part of your journey.
