He enjoys providing treatment to clients by resolving emotional and personal needs within the wellness model. His practical view of the function of counseling involves a journey of self-exploration by the client that increases their level of self-understanding and self-awareness. John uses cognitive behavioral therapy and is also eclectic in his approach, based on the needs of the client and what would work best in bringing forth change with the client. John Crapo is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. He received his master's degree in counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He completed additional coursework through NCSU and Liberty. John has 23 years of experience providing therapy and has extensive experience providing individual and family therapy within diverse populations and age groups.
