About

In my clinical work I focus on helping clients develop a more compassionate and complete understanding of themselves. If you're experiencing anxiety or depression—particularly symptoms like intrusive thoughts, OCD, or the lingering effects of past trauma or abuse—it is possible to find relief through counseling. I'd like to help you start to make sense of things.

There are no shortcuts to a deeper understanding of oneself. The insights and meanings I’ll help you uncover in therapy, though, can serve as the lasting foundation for a more authentic, integrated, and empowered life.

Drawing on both counseling psychology and my ten years’ experience as a university teacher of philosophy and theology, I also often work with both young and older adults who find themselves facing existential, religious, or other deep human concerns.
