Have you been feeling increasingly on edge, easily distracted, or irritable? Do you catch yourself overanalyzing and questioning decisions or interactions with other people? Do you feel disconnected, lonely, or unsure of yourself? These are all natural feelings, and we all struggle sometimes. But occasionally life throws one thing too many at us and moving forward requires a little more work. This can be especially true if you have recently experienced a significant life change, such as relationship break up, death of a loved one, career change, or welcoming a child. Therapy can offer the needed support and change of perspective. In my work, I strive not only to reduce acute stress but also help you grow confidence in your ability to heal and to expand your capacity to feel happy, in control, and aligned with your values. With new insight and self-compassion, you can move past places where you feel stuck. I will work hard to ensure that you feel heard, safe, and respected. In technical terms, I use relational and psychodynamic therapy approaches. I also use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, as well as trauma-informed strategies (EMDR). I find this blend useful in alleviating distress and coping with day-to-day challenges but also conducive to creating space for a broader exploration and growth. I look forward to working with you!
