About

I have worked with clients that have severe psychiatric issues, including major depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and many others disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I enjoy the challenge of working with those that struggle with depression, anxiety issues, panic attacks, lack of self esteem, clients who need help limit setting with others and have difficulty defining themselves rather than others defining them. I also have experience helping clients that are dealing with substance abuse issues in conjunction with an outpatient substance abuse program, providing education, individual/family and group therapy.

I can help clients identify, clarify and gain a better understanding of their problems and develop positive skills to cope in healthy ways that improve their lives and well being through various treatment modalities.

One of the most important components of the therapeutic alliance is the ability to listen to the client, be non-judgmental and remain objective. I try to create an atmosphere that is down to earth, warm and encourages clients to feel safe sharing the vulnerable parts of themselves. It is my honor hold that with careful hands.
