About

Everyone has the capacity to rise above life’s struggles but finding our way to healing or growth can be challenging. Many people feel overwhelmed, disconnected and distressed. I offer supportive, collaborative guidance in understanding negative behavior and thought patterns and navigating beyond them. Using evidence-based modalities I help adults, couples, professionals and older individuals address trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions and other roadblocks. We work toward strengthening your identity, achieving a sense of inner calm and safety, and challenging beliefs that stand between you and who you want to be.

As a former family attorney and mediator I have worked with many couples. As therapist I help them understand relationship dynamics and I offer interventions, tools and support as they move forward, either strengthening or repairing their relationship or exploring compassionate decoupling.

The therapeutic modalities I employ depend on issues presented by the client. However, I am strongly influenced by Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive-Behavioral Theory and Mindfulness, as well as Emotionally-Focused Therapy for couples.
