About

My mission is to create a supportive, emotionally safe, and affirming environment in the therapy space, where you can gain hope for change. I have a wealth of expertise working with mental health disorders, struggles with substance abuse, failure to launch, difficulties with motivation, and challenges navigating family dynamics. I incorporate aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based practices into my work.

As a trauma-informed therapist, I believe that many of our challenges are rooted in trauma and childhood attachment. Growth can happen when we are able to develop internal validation and develop a positive self-concept. I believe much of our work happens between therapy sessions, and that evolving treatment plans are effective in obtaining long-term goals.

Together, we can align to understand and explore your inner experiences to create a sense of self-empowerment and fulfillment.
