I work with individuals (adolescents 13+ and adults) to identify strengths and resources to conquer personal stumbling blocks. I assist couples and families who are struggling with strained relationships to develop skills that result in understanding the underlying issues, effective communication, and an establishment of healthy boundaries. At Beyond the Couch, clients will be equipped with a strong set of skills and solutions to deal with life’s challenges in a healthy and productive manner that can be incorporated in their everyday life. I specialize in areas of depression, anxiety, life adjustments, family conflict, substance abuse, relationship issues,parenting skills, and anger management. I have over 10 years of experience working with adolescents and families. While creating a safe environment, I will tailor the session to meet the specific need of the client. Every experience we encounter helps to shape us into the people we are meant to be. I believe the key to success is learning how to take the lessons from each experience, whether it is good or bad, and allowing it to teach us how to become the best versions of ourselves.
