About

I am a psychotherapist and social worker with over 15 years of experience helping people reach their goals and improve their quality of life through increased self-understanding and empowerment. I have extensive experience working with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, cultural and identity issues, substance use, emotion regulation difficulties, and the long-term impact of trauma and abuse. I also provide supervision to graduate students and new therapists working toward full licensure.

I work primarily from a relational, person-centered approach utilizing components of psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness-based therapies. I strive to provide a caring, authentic and non-judgmental atmosphere in which clients are able to safely increase insight and explore change.

I believe we can all benefit from therapy at various points in life. If you think I may be able to help you, or even just have questions about the therapy process, I look forward to connecting with you!
