There are points in our life when burdens become too heavy, the way forward too dim, and we lose sight of who we are. I believe suffering is not meant to be endured alone. As a counselor, my hope is to provide a space where there is both warmth and freedom – freedom to show up as you are and walk into light, which is a metaphor that means something different to each person. This often requires courage and time. I will compassionately and respectfully walk with you, as we navigate the path towards healing and wholeness together. My approach is rooted in my belief that human beings are both complex and inherently worthy. I draw from research done in attachment theory and neuroscience and utilize many interventions that come from person-centered therapy and narrative therapy. My background in writing has greatly influenced my work as a counselor, as I believe creative processes like writing can be a powerful tool used to process our own stories and emotions. I welcome people from all walks of life and backgrounds. Please reach out with any questions or to set up a session.
