About

It is my goal to help my clients better understand themselves and work toward achieving their personal goals together. That starts with a relationship built on trust, empathy and compassion. Whatever your current or ongoing struggle is about, if you possess a willingness to be present as an active participant in your counseling sessions, and can be patient, creative, and flexible when learning and applying tools or techniques outside of our sessions, you are capable of making meaningful and lasting change.

I provide counseling for adults and adolescents, and I have prior experience in the school setting working with adolescents. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, mindfulness training, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, relying on the foundation of each clients' unique strengths and abilities to tailor our work.

I also work with a team of clinicians at Positive Directions who all work closely together, and we have a variety of specialty areas, including: grief & loss, trauma, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, self-esteem, & anxiety & depression. I invite you to take the first step of reaching out to start working toward your wellness goals.
