The decision to come to therapy is a powerful one. In our work together, we’ll team up and create distance from stressors, such as anxiety, perfectionism, and other external pressures. You will likely find me warm, engaged, and direct. Our sessions will seem active and conversational- you will not feel like you are the only one doing the talking! I focus on helping clients find comfort with themselves while experiencing belongingin the world and their relationships. Clients have shared they feel like they're part of a team and not up against problems alone. Drawing from yoga practices, mindfulness, and somatic practices, my approach to therapy is focused on the needs and goals of each client. Outside of my private practice, I teach yoga classes and lead hiking retreats. I incorporate these skills/tools with clients, helping to support lasting change. I also work with athletes transitioning to life after their sports career, helping them separate their identity from athletic performance and find meaning and purpose during and after competition.
