In my experience I've come to know that each person's struggles and strengths are unique, but we're all connected and affected by one another. From this starting point, I hope to build a safe place to process, grow, and develop new skills to overcome life's difficulties. Using an eclectic blend of evidence based practices specifically tailored to each individual, I have treated adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, anger management, issues of spirituality, and life transitions. I also have more specialized experience working with those suffering from grief and loss, and have researched and published on the topic as well. I think the most important part of effective treatment is a solid therapy relationship. From that safety we'll explore the nature of your distress, and develop new understandings and coping strategies in order to grow and overcome. While I utilize evidence-based, empirically-supported practices, I also appreciate the value of simply being heard and known. I endeavor to create an open, judgement free environment to unpack the burdens of life or invest in your growth. I look forward to seeing if we're a good match to assist you in your time of need or to achieve your goals. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your personal goals and difficulties, and determine if I might be of help.
