About

Are you attempting to manage feelings that have been building up over time? You may be living with anxiety and depression, generally feeling stuck, and/or are trying to manage the personalities of people around you. Perhaps you aren’t quite sure how to talk about what’s happening; but something doesn’t feel right—things just feel off. During times like this, talking to a professional can help. I work with young adults, parents, college and graduate students including international students. I have niche specialized experience working with medical professionals such as physicians, nurses and medical trainees. View 5 Photos

I formulate your story from a psychodynamic orientation with the belief that the past influences the present and operate from a relational lens (relationships influence well-being), though I have experience using cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques. I also conduct friendship therapy, which you can learn more about on my website.

I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, emotionally rich and confidential environment for individuals to explore what’s on their mind. After getting a feel for the salient issues at hand, we consider how to manage symptoms. I believe everyone has a story, and beginnings matter; therefore, we also explore where and why these symptoms started.
