I am a Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist with 25+ years of experience helping individuals, couples and families experience positive life change. I treat a wide variety of issues, and hold a special place in my heart for those with deeply rooted pain and injuries from childhood trauma and or sexual abuse and am honored to share in the healing journey as we learn not just to survive, but to thrive! Some of the other issues I treat include Dissociative disorders, codependency, Attachment issues, Behavioral issues, Depression and Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Impulsivity, Divorce, Grief, Sexuality/gender related issues, self-esteem. I specialize in helping couples and survivors of trauma, to include childhood abuse of all types as well as recent trauma. I also specialize in the treatment of dissociative disorders, attachment issues, personality disorders, codependency, mood disorders, grief, divorce, infidelity/marital/relationship issues and issues related to spirituality. I take an integrative therapy approach, combining different therapeutic tools and approaches to fit the needs of my clients. Some of these include: Psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), Family Systems, EMDR, Gestalt, Mindfulness based approaches, Gottman Approach, Client-Centered Therapy and Spirituality.
