As a parent, former educator, and as counselor, I have insight into the challenges children, adolescents, and their parents face in the world today. I am passionate about creating a safe space for my clients to explore their feelings. They find themselves heard, accepted, and at ease in a compassionate, laid-back environment. Clients are able to develop the skills they need to bring about positive changes, self confidence and improve relationships. I am eclectic in my counseling approach using Strengths-Based, Solution-Focused, and evidence-based psychotherapy techniques tailored to the individual I'm working with. When seeing children and adolescents, I believe in working collaboratively with parents, family, school counselors, and pediatricians for the highest level of care. I also work with adults. My goal and purpose is to walk alongside clients while they become empowered to learn, grow, and become the very best version of themself. Beginning therapy can be overwhelming, so you should feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about where or how to start. I would be honored to help you.
