As a parent coach and therapist, I specialize in guiding families through the unique developmental stages of children from birth to 7 years. Parenting is hard and kids definitely don't come with a manual! During these early years, children experience rapid growth - emotionally, socially, and cognitively - which can sometimes lead to challenges like behavior issues, sleep problems, emotional regulation problems, and more. I've learned from both being a clinician (and a parent) that parents (and kids) are just trying to do their best. And sometimes, everyone needs a little extra support to make life go more smoothly. I work closely with parents & caregivers to understand their child's developmental milestones and unique needs, manage emotional and behavioral issues such as tantrums, anxiety, or aggression, improve parent-child communication & attunement, and help reduce parenting stress and co-parenting differences. I've spent over 25 years working with hundreds of children and parents from many different communities.. I believe that parenting is about relationships - your relationship to your child, to yourself, and to others. Together we can understand what both you and your child bring to your relationship and what is needed to help bring about positive change.
