About

Sometimes we can feel like we are settling for an unfulfilling life, yearning for freedom from the emotional pain that plagues us. We may feel that we are drowning in conflict, depression, and loneliness, as well as feeling scared and overwhelmed. Our wants and needs sound so simple, yet no matter what we do and what we try to change, it turns out to seem like it is just not that simple after all. We crave connection and intimacy, but sometimes our anxiety, sadness, fear, anger and relationships seem like obstacles to our goals, and the changes we want to make in our lives. Talking helps. There is hope, you are not alone.

I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. I have found Dialectical Behavioral to be effective in many areas. However, I am not limited to DBT, and can help with issues you may be struggling with. There are other types of approaches too, and we will find the ones best suited to meet your individual needs.

I have found find that greeting client with a warm smile, empathy, and unconditional positive regard creates a trusting relationship. When you are in a safe place free of judgment, you can feel empowered and have your feelings respected and validated. Please email me, or give me a call. I would be happy to walk with you on your healing journey.
