For the past 27 years, I have worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. My experience includes individual, family, and couples counseling. The client-counselor relationship is built on trust and empathy in a safe and compassionate environment. In my practice, I utilize a strengths perspective to empower my clients to reach their personal goals and feel more fulfilled. Having worked with adolescents in a school setting for over 20 years, I have extensive experience assisting adolescents with developing coping strategies, social skills & managing the adolescent years, and offering support to parents. I work with college students, assisting them with the transition to college as well as navigating the college experience. I utilize a strengths perspective to empower my clients to identify strengths and reach personal goals. The therapeutic relationship can assist clients with growth and change that can lead to a more fulfilled life. We all deal with challenges and struggles throughout our life and can benefit from the support of the therapeutic process.
