I'm a Clinical Psychologist with 20+ years of experience. I work in a collaborative manner and creating a safe space for you explore your thoughts/feelings/experiences is of utmost importance to me. Through therapy, we work on changing longstanding counter-productive behavior patterns and reinforcing areas of strength. By doing this, you can have more rewarding relationships and a more fulfilling life. I keep current on treatments for issues such as mood disorders, ADHD, and relationship issues. I encourage use of exercise and mindfulness to improve mental health. If interested, please talk to me about walking during sessions. I work frequently with depressed or anxious individuals. I have extensive training in couples therapy through the Gottman Institute. I work with parents to improve their skills, and assist separated or divorced parents to co-parent successfully. I work with individuals or couples around issues of infertility. I enjoy assisting athletes improve their performance. I work with adolescents and adults diagnosed with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and athletes on their "mental game". I assist with developing strategies to feel better and improve relationships. Other areas of interest include post-divorce adjustment, infertility, and grief work. I offer a Walking Group and also walk with individual clients when desired and appropriate.
