The best way to gain control of your out of control life is to focus on the strengths you already have and fine tune your weaknesses so that you can find the inner peace and happiness you will need to help you grow and thrive. The goal of our work together is designed to help you work through your struggles one step at a time and to offer you a fresh perspective and new approaches to problem solving. My clinical approach is a combination of short-term solution focused psychotherapy with a cognitive behavioral approach. We will also incorporate some life coaching techniques as well with the goal being self-empowerment. I work with individuals, families and couples who are dealing with conflicts, life transitions, and stress management. I have a particular interest in working with families who are caring for children with special needs. Special needs affects the entire family not just the caretaker; I want to make this process easier for you and your whole family. I graduated from Clark University with a BA and received a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University. I walked away from practice to raise a family and after my third child was born with special needs I knew it was time for me to return to my clinical roots and help others who are facing similar challenges.
