Being a parent is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding roles we enter into with little to no training or education, other than what we have observed growing up. As parents we feel pressure that we should know how to handle any challenges we encounter along the way and be successful in each moment. This is a heavy expectation we put on ourselves as parents and not realistic! Being a teen or young adult growing up in this complex world comes with its own pressures and challenges that are new and overwhelming at times. Learning helpful strategies and processing experiences can go a long way in a safe, supportive space. I have been licensed since 2008, specializing in teens and young adults- especially young women. We will collaborate together to reach your goals, facilitate healthier relationships and connection, and gain actual skills to use to navigate stress and challenges that come your way. I focus on empowering and equipping you to feel more wellness and joy. I consider it an honor to be able to work with you or your child, to highlight the strengths you already have and build upon them. We will work together to increase your confidence as you learn new ways to navigate the future with more skill, acceptance, and happiness. I look forward to connecting with you.
