You’re a capable, resourceful adult to others, but when your life stops making sense, who do you turn to? Hi, I’m Jennie and I’ve helped adults cope with anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, work and caregiver stress. Creative and high-capacity people often find their way to me (neurodiversity welcomed). I support individuals from varied backgrounds: grad students; parents of young children; business leaders, first responders, teachers and nurses; military family members; government employees and creatives. I understand both metropolitan “hustle culture” and community-based small town dynamics, each with its own strengths and demands. Using an eclectic approach, authenticity and empathy mix with insight and evidence based methods such as acceptance and cognitive therapies (ACT and CBT). Together we discover how our thoughts interact with emotions and behaviors, and how to use strengths to overcome challenges and improve mental health. Even when we can’t control outcomes, we can choose how to respond, with acceptance and gratitude, not judging ourselves or others. We don’t have to remain stuck in the past or worried about the future. If you want to respond more effectively to stressful events rather than reacting, let’s talk. Brief, initial phone consult is free of charge.
