About

I am a Licensed Masters Level Social Worker (LMSW), who works specifically with adolescents over the age of 11, and adults. I use a variety of therapeutic methods, depending most importantly, on the needs of each client. Using a strengths and mindfulness based approach to psychotherapy, I draw upon my knowledge of, and training in, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy to help clients reach their goals.

I have almost two decades of advocacy work and case management experience to draw upon as well. I have worked most recently for two years as a mental health interventionist and middle school social worker. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma related problems (including PTSD), ADHD, grief, and adjustment disorders.

For me, therapy is partly about shining a light on each person’s individuality, strengths, knowledge, and support networks from the start of the first session the throughout the entire collaborative and therapeutic journey. My goal is to cultivate an atmosphere of safety, trust, and empowerment within the therapeutic space.
