I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of mood, anxiety and behavioral disorders in youth and young adults. I have extensive training and use research to provide expert treatment based on your specific needs. I work directly with you and your family to create a strong sense of calm and connection. I can help to regain a sense of normalcy and support you with developing ways to strengthen relationships, manage behaviors, and improve mood. My goal is to allow you and your family to feel supported and valued to promote a trusting relationship that can facilitate change towards the goals you want. As a psychologist in the Division of Child/Adolescent Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Assistant Professor at CUMC, I provide individual, group, parenting, and family therapy as well as train and supervise trainees. I also completed my fellowship at The Koch Center and led DBT Skills Groups, Social Skills groups, and School Refusal Program. Using warmth and sensitivity, I strive to create strong, collaborate relationships from which your goals can be achieved whether it be adjusting to a new transition, improving relationships, facing fears, or regulating emotions and behaviors. I also work with parents to manage stress related to the demands of their parenting role. Call or email to schedule.
