We live in a fast paced, stressful, and achievement-oriented culture where we are expected to move through our lives checking off our endless to-do lists. Many of us have accepted this as the norm and we inevitably begin to see the impact of a life filled with days lived at a frantic pace. Without building in time to pause and reflect, so many of us find ourselves experiencing the painful effects of depression and anxiety. I am committed to helping people embrace mindfulness and taking time to process their past and present in a safe space. I specialize in working with clients with childhood trauma, anxiety, depression and postpartum depression. I am currently participating in training for EMDR to help clients move through trauma. I have found through my own work that being open to your past by taking time in the present can bring a greater sense of peace and self-acceptance. It is my hope to help each client build a practice of mindfulness and self care that will support both their internal life as well as impact their communities in a positive way.
