About

I have worked with couples and individuals in marriage counseling. I also work with middle and high school students on self-esteem, self-confidence and social skills. I am a dementia specialist and have a passion for working with the elderly and their caregivers. I relate to and work with clients with chronic illness as I have Type 1 Diabetes. I love working with a variety of clients.

My counseling techniques are based on client needs. I typically uses cognitive-behavioral therapy, reality therapy, play therapy and client-centered therapy. I use Gottman Therapy with couples.

I am eager to work with each client. I build rapport and trust with each client that improves with each session. I focus each session on the individual client's goals and their progress and potential to reaching their therapy goals. I am an unbiased, honest and trustworthy therapist. I want each client to feel safe and successful.
