The individuals who work with me find a space of open, affirmative, and empowering support that promotes self-determination and enhanced personal growth. I see young adults, adults, and teens (16+) who seek support in facing some of life’s most difficult challenges, trauma, loss, and life transition. Additionally, I am committed to advocacy and work to address systemic issues that impact the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities. My goal is to create a safe and compassionate space for clients to explore their challenges and strengths, build skills and resilience, and achieve their goals for personal growth. Having a diverse professional background working in substance and alcohol use treatment clinics, hospice, education admin., and medical specialty offices. I possess a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, and physical health and the impact of social, cultural, and environmental factors on individuals and families. I believe in adopting a solution-focused/problem-solving perspective and implementing trauma-informed practices to help individuals navigate life’s difficulties. For me, ally-ship, compassion and empathy serve as the foundation of a therapeutic relationship, and I am dedicated to fostering a safe and welcoming environment.
