About

Do you ever feel like your emotions are in control, or too overwhelming to face alone? Or that others will judge you for opening up about emotional or personal struggles? I have experience working with youth, adults, and families on a variety of different issues including suicidality, self harm, anxiety, depression, difficulty regulating emotions, and trauma. I utilize a person-centered style of therapy, based on each individuals' needs and have been trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as EMDR Therapy.

I strive to provide a safe environment to explore personal issues while also teaching skills to help manage overwhelming emotions and seek solutions. I enjoy incorporating mindfulness and other techniques into therapy to help implement these strategies, ultimately helping people learn the skills to become in control of their feelings and behaviors.

I hope to have an opportunity to talk with you about the magic of EMDR therapy or build a strong foundation of coping strategies or address any particularly challenging circumstances you could be facing. Being a human is hard- but I am here to help! Seeking counseling can be a tough but rewarding decision, I hope today you choose you and take the next step!
