I've been in the counseling field since 2008 and work with many different needs including complex trauma, attachment, relationship difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and maternal mental health needs. It's an honor to collaborate with my clients to care for the deep and tender places in their lives. I see our work together through a trauma-sensitive lens, with an emphasis on the ways we come to understand ourselves and our stories. I hold certification in Perinatal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International and additional certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). You are worthy of being tended to, just as you are. I believe in the value of therapy and find my practice informed by research, nature, books, and by my own adventures in therapy. I use aspects of relational psychodynamic work, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed, person-centered care.
