Hello, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor based in rural Texas. I have been a counselor since 2012. In my first career, I was a schoolteacher and school administrator. I decided to leave public education and focus my career on mental health. In 2012, I worked in a drug rehabilitation clinic in Houston. I worked in the intensive outpatient department, detox and RTC. I lead groups from 5 to groups as large as 50 or more clients. In 2017, I started my rural practice with an agency who mostly caters to at risk populations through individual therapy, skills training and diagnostic interventions.
