About

I am an inclusive and compassionate therapist who works with clients ranging from young adults to elders navigating the effects of trauma, grief and loss, and identity issues/exploration with a particular affinity for working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have extensive experience supporting clients in non-traditional relationship structures such as polyamory and consensual non-monogamy through an affirmative, kink-aware and sex positive lens. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community I bring a personal understanding of the unique forms of trauma that can affect members of our community. View 11 Photos

My strength-based approach is complemented by a friendly, positive, and energetic demeanor. Before transitioning to therapy, I worked in architecture for 15 years. This informs my therapeutic style, allowing me to apply logic & strategic thinking to help clients identify the sources of their issues and build new and healthier ways of engaging with the world.

I received my Masters of Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Outside of my therapeutic practice, you will find me reading and watching Sci-Fi and fantasy, playing board & video games, hiking and enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with my partner and our dog. Reach out today if you think we would work well together.
