About

If you are struggling with life's challenges and are seeking tools to better cope with or overcome those challenges, I want to help you. The foundation of my work is the collaborative and proven tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is a highly effective, scientifically supported approach for anxiety, depression, trauma and other issues and life struggles. I offer a more simplified approach with children - Behavioral Therapy. The behavioral approach employs a range of techniques used to change maladaptive behaviors. The goal is to reinforce desirable behaviors and eliminate unwanted ones.

CBT is based on the idea that thoughts, feelings, actions, and physical sensations are interconnected, and that maladaptive thoughts can lead to emotional difficulties and problematic behaviors. CBT aims to help you deal with problems by breaking them down into smaller parts. It also deals with your current problems, rather than focusing on the past.

Ultimately, I want to help you get the most out of your life by helping you manage the symptoms that get in your way. Together we can turn your difficult situation into an opportunity to strengthen yourself and build confidence in your ability to take on what life throws at you. Don't give up hope!
