I have been working in the mental health field for the past 5 years. I have a Bachelor of Social Work from Augusta University and a Master of Social Work from Valdosta University. I am a licensed Master Social Worker with the Georgia Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists. I have experience working with people of various ages including children, teenagers, adults, and senior adults with various personal, behavioral, and mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and psychosis. During my practice I use an eclectic model to guide my sessions and enhance the therapeutic process. Everyone is unique in their own ways and so it is important for me to use a non-judgmental multifaceted approach to address client's needs and help them achieve their goals. I view the therapeutic process as a partnership between myself and the client where together we work on the root causes of struggles, develop strategies to overcome them, and collaborate to create and achieve reasonable goals and positive outcomes.
