Please note, recently I have had a few daytime openings, unfortunately I do not have any openings past 2pm. I am excited at the potential opportunity to work with yourself, or a loved one. Durning therapy I gain an understanding of an individuals perspective in which they see themselves, others, and life’s conditions. I work with the individual to identifying specific problems or issues in your daily life, become aware of unproductive thought patterns and how they can impact your life. I work to identify negative thinking and reshape it in a way that changes how you feel, as well as learn new behaviors and put them into practice. In my practice I generally incorporate cognitive therapy, behavioral therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), skills of dialecticaI behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness training, and rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT), I have also trained at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York City for REBT. In my work as a therapist I strive to provide individuals with both the practical and clinical tools they need to reach their full potential. As a mental health therapist my greatest goal is to help improve the quality of life for those impacted from the barriers that both mental illness, and the stressors of life has place on them.
