About

Seeking therapy is courageous and vulnerable and choosing a therapist can be challenging. A trusting and connected relationship with a therapist where you can bring your full self without experiencing judgement is essential for change, since our distress is often related to disconnection from others or ourselves. Therefore, my primary focus is on building an accepting and safe therapeutic relationship while also appreciating your individual needs and remaining flexible in our work together. From this relationship, we will be able to identify factors preventing change and help you work toward living a meaningful life consistent with your values and goals.

If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, difficulty related to past or current trauma/abuse, loneliness, exploration of gender identity/sexual orientation, grief/loss, challenges with life transition, or any other concern that is creating distress, we can collaboratively explore where change is possible and work to alleviate distress.

My office hours are flexible and I am available for evening and weekend appointments. If you would like to explore further how together we will be able to meet your counseling needs, I am happy to talk with you by phone for a free brief consultation.
