About

Therapy is a collaborative process of discernment and self discovery. We all can struggle at times; we need support to look deeply at ourselves and the world and to examine our shadows. Yet, through the challenges of this endeavor comes true freedom and a greater capacity for you to choose how you want to be in the world. My approach is psychodynamically based, incorporating neuropsychological, mindfulness, and body-based techniques. If you choose to see me, we will explore your conflicts, celebrate your successes, and create the room for you to come to terms with those dynamics inhibiting your satisfaction with life.

I wil help you address the conflicts that inhibit your being in the world. Jim Finley, PhD stated, "We are a culture that is depth deprived." As a compassionate presence, who is not afraid to confront when necessary, we can soothe this lack you may feel in yourself and your life.

Deeply listening to your story and words helps cultivate your own self compassion and self presence. Together we'll help you unbind the psychic knots holding you back from who you desire to be in your life. I also have experience helping medical professionals, those in the military and leadership positions, navigate the challenges unique to their roles.
