I am a licensed psychotherapist and dedicated psychoanalytic trainee with a focus on exploring the intersections of psychoanalysis, race, and sexuality. As a Black male clinician, I bring a fresh perspective and a deep curiosity to my work, guided by a passion for understanding the complexities of human identity. Through my academic pursuits, I seek to deepen my understanding of the unconscious processes that underlie racial dynamics and interpersonal relationships. In my clinical practice I utilize a psychoanalytic framework to delve into the unconscious realms of the mind, exploring how race and sexuality intersect with individuals' inner worlds. I provide compassionate and insightful therapy to clients seeking to unravel the complexities of their identities. I am particularly interested in using artistic expression as a tool for psychoanalytic inquiry, recognizing the profound insights that can be gleaned from the creative works of artists and individuals. I believe in the transformative potential of psychoanalysis to foster self-discovery and healing.
