I believe anyone can benefit from counseling. We all lead busy lives in an increasingly complex world; at its most basic, counseling offers a set time and place for a person to slow down, catch their breath, and talk through parts of their life in the service of making it better. Whether you want to know yourself more deeply, process impactful life events or relationships, heal from mental or emotional pain, or further develop aspects of yourself for a better quality of life, I aim to help my clients with these goals and others. I work with adults of a wide breadth of ages, backgrounds, and levels of familiarity with mental health treatment. I specialize in affirmative therapy with people who are LGBTQ+. My counseling approach is based in person-centered therapy, as I believe each client is the expert in their own life and has the power to self-actualize. I'm simply here to help. I foster a counseling space that is peaceful and free of judgment so that those who enter will feel safe and welcomed to open up about their life. It is my goal to bring my compassion, knowledge, and experience to our collaborative counseling space to help you as you need. If you're interested in giving counseling a try, I'm ready to hear from you!
