We're all faced with challenges, big and small. Sometimes these grow to overpower and overwhelm us. The adults, children, and families I work with say that I help them feel heard, valued, comfortable, and that I provide a safe place to explore options and pick the right solutions. I would be honored to share with you the insights and skills from my diverse background - from work in schools, addiction clinics, mental health agencies, and private practice in New York, Philadelphia, Dallas, and my hometown Kansas City. Since earning degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University, I have helped people work through difficulties, including peer and family conflict, addiction, depression, anxiety, divorce, and grief. As one of the few male therapists, I focus on issues affecting men and boys - including bullying, anger management, and communication.
