I am not a "normal" person, which means my therapy style is not "normal". There's laughing, joking, getting to the root of the problem, more laughing, crying, baby yoda gets involved, homework assigned that you won't do four times in a row, then you'll do the homework, healing will take place and you'll say "I feel amazing" and I'll say "Right?" Some tidbits about me, I'm part of the BIPOC community, I'm Puerto Rican and Chinese aka China-Rican (patent pending). I'm a veteran of the Marine Corps and I'm an LGBTQ+ ally. I've been in the counseling and social work field for 12 years. And also, I use a regular conversation style because I consider us equals in this partnership.
